Position/Title: A+ Computer Repair and Maintenance Instructor

Location: 152 Littleton Avenue, Newark, NJ
Hours: Monday - Thursday; 9am-3pm (10-week program)
Salary: $50-$60 p/h (commensurate with experience)
Reports To: Chief Administrative Officer | Tech House Manager

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
An engaging and knowledgeable Computer Repair & Maintenance instructor that will prepare program participants to take the CompTia A+ Certification exam.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Educate students in a classroom setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Adhere to established teaching curriculum
  • Maintain positive relationships with students
  • Document and share student grades and evaluations
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students
  • Prepare students to sit for and pass CompTIA A+ Certification Exam

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience (5 – 7yrs), in teaching Computer Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
