According to the USDA, in 2023, all food prices are predicted to increase by 7.1 percent.

Many families have great concerns about where there next meal is coming from, not having access to sufficient food, or food of an adequate quality, to meet their basic needs.

To address food insecurity, the Urban League of Essex County provides food assistance to residents in the Fairmount Heights community.
