The Rutgers University-Newark Center for PreCollege Programs (CPP) will be having a free Community Block Party on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on the RU-N tennis courts. The event intends to offer a day of family fun and resources for the students and families within the Newark and Greater Newark area that we serve and to provide an opportunity to introduce our precollege programs to new families.
Syndicated radio station WBLS 107.5 will be sending their Community Street Team to join our event. In addition, many of our campus colleagues Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Foundations Center (EOF), HLLC, NCLC, Kite and Key, and the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine will also be participating with tons of resources and information.
Our anchor community will enjoy a COVID-compliant day of resources, games, snacks, prizes, and entertainment in the spirit of reconnecting with their Rutgers-Newark neighbor, partner, and collaborator.
