With over 25 years of experience in capital markets and asset management, Black Enterprise Magazine has recognized Jacob as one of the Most Influential Blacks on Wall Street.  Jacob has garnered widespread attention for his firm’s work for clients and New Jersey's Black community.

He was recognized among New Jersey’s Most Influential People of Color, NJ Biz Leaders in Finance, and ROI-NJ’s Influencer Power List.  He testified twice before the New Jersey State Senate to highlight the economic disparities facing people of color in New Jersey and is regularly called upon to share his views on industry issues and topics related to race, diversity, and inclusion.  He is active on several boards and nonprofits and has served as Director of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights and Justice, Trustee for the New York Foundation for the Arts, and Chairman of EBONY Media Holdings.  He currently serves as Chairman of Parkview Capital Credit, Inc. and on the Investment Committee for $7 billion Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropy.

Jacob is a regular guest market commentator on CNBC’s Squawk Box and has appeared on Reuters Television and FOX Business News where he discusses the state of the markets and actionable investment ideas.  He has contributed to a variety of articles in Vanity Fair, The Wall Street Journal, GQ, Reuters, Forbes, and Bloomberg.
