Audible is the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling, offering customers a rich destination for insight and inspiration to enhance their daily lives.

Audible moved its headquarters to Newark in 2007 to accelerate the renaissance of a great American city and increase opportunities for city residents. To expand its efforts aimed at advancing equity, racial justice and economic empowerment, Audible launched the Global Center for Urban Development in 2020. The Center drives neighborhood revitalization efforts through direct community and economic investments, including supporting small businesses, seeding startups, encouraging local investment in our creative economy, and empowering Newark students through a paid internship program.

Audible’s investments in Newark create jobs, sustain businesses, attract foot traffic and result in greater employee spend, resulting in over $775 million in economic activity.
