The Economic Empowerment Committee coordinates financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and community economic empowerment programs designed to meet the needs of our members and local community, including planning and coordinating the annual National Day of Empowerment event to be held in the fall as directed by NULYP.
The Personal and Professional Development Committee plans and organizes speakers and activities for career development workshops and other endeavors to facilitate the development of the professional networks and leadership skills among young professionals.
The Advocacy Committee leads all organizational efforts to increase civic knowledge, participation, and activism. Committee activities include voter registration drives, poll worker drives, canvassing, debate watch parties, and the election-year Super Saturday seminar.
The Membership Committee organizes all efforts to attract and retain members, including New Member Orientation mixers and attendance at events where the young professional demographic is present.
