The Advocacy Committee leads all organizational efforts to increase civic knowledge, participation, and activism. Committee activities include voter registration drives, poll worker drives, canvassing, debate watch parties, and the election-year Super Saturday seminar.
The Personal and Professional Development Committee plans and organizes speakers and activities for career development workshops and other endeavors to facilitate the development of the professional networks and leadership skills among young professionals.
The Economic Empowerment Committee coordinates financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and community economic empowerment programs designed to meet the needs of our members and local community, including planning and coordinating the annual National Day of Empowerment event to be held in the fall as directed by NULYP.
The Social and Cultural Committee coordinates regular activities for member participation. The committee actively seeks venues in the metro Atlanta area and beyond that speak to the tastes of our membership, for parties, networking mixers, excursions, and other activities.
